On September 25, a young woman was sentenced to 13 years in jail for attempted aggravated m*rder. Brenda Barattini, a 28-year-old architect, was found guilty by a popular jury in Argentina. She’d used secateurs to remove her lover’s pen*s.
“I really apologize for what I did; I never intended to kill anyone.” I want justice to be served. I messed up my life, and I want to get back to living normally,’ the accused claimed. The young woman acknowledged throughout the trial that she wanted to pursue her lover because he “treated her like a trophy” and shared personal footage of her with his buddies. It violated my privacy, my life and my career,” she said.
The 42-year-old victim said during the trial that the young woman mut*lated him in November 2017 after blindfolding him as if for a sensual game. Despite having lost a lot of blood, he was able to exit his apartment thanks to several neighbors who had heard his calls. The married man has since had numerous reconstructive surgeries.
According to his attorney Ivan Sironi B, there has never been an attempted aggravated homicide resulting from a penile damage in Argentina’s whole legal history. As a result, Brenda Barattini has decided to appeal.
