Nigerian artist, Burna Boy, on the roof of Africa

Renowned Nigerian artist Berna Boy gave a hellish performance that took him to the top of Africa.
Another great performance from artist Burna boy
Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, is a singer and songwriter of Nigerian nationality.

Nicknamed Odugwu, he rose to fame in 2012 after releasing single Like to Party, the lead single from his debut album LIFE. His albums and singles followed. In 2017, Burna Boy signed deals with two major US record labels. These are Atlantic Records and Warner Music Group.

In 2019, he won Best International Artist at the 2019 BET Awards. He currently has six albums under his name and is considered one of the superstars of African music. In an online post, a young Nigerian artist pointed out that Nigerian youth rule the world. And he said why. “Young Nigerians are leading the world. Our music moves people and gets them dancing in the biggest venues around the world. Every day they continue to open new horizons and set new records in almost all human endeavours. The creativity that lives in the minds of average Nigerian youth shines like the sun,” said the Nigerian artist.

And the least we can say is that the artist is not entirely wrong. Because he just broke a pretty impressive record. In fact, his single “Last Last” became the first African solo track to top 100 million streams on music streaming platform Spotify. Streaming platforms pointed this out in a recently published study of users’ music habits.
