Messi was disappointed about the club’s chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi who turndown his request to sign Barcelona star Jordi Alba this summer
Barcelona were looking for any chance to sack the Spain international with manager, Xavi, making use of him not often this season.
However, Xavi would rather have the 19-year-old Alejandro Balde over the veteran left-back.
Alba has appeared in only three games in La Liga so far, starting just once as his future at the club is still uncertain.
Although the PSG superstar, Lionel Messi was aware of the Catalan side’s attempts to sell the player and suggested the Parisians sign the Spaniard.
El Nacional announced that Al-Khelaifi sense that Alba’s Performance levels in recent years have not been encouraging while the left-back is edging closer to retirement.
During Messi’s first year at the French capital he had problems adapting but seems to have settled down well.
