Franck Jessie, former AC Milan midfielder,is starting to feel bad for not consistently playing games at Barcelona.
Reports from El Nacional said that the 25-year-old, who joined Barcelona from AC Milan this summer, is really angry with manager Xavi Hernandez due to this treatment. A BarçaTV reporter, speaking after their defeat to Bayern Munich on Tuesday, said that the midfield needed a player like Kessié with physical strength instead of Gavi.
Xavi using his formation on the midfield with the likes of Busquets-Pedri-Gavi, “And whenever I hear that I watch Gavi’s last matches and I can tell that no one is stronger than him physically on the field,” the analyst said.
Kessie had played 224 times for Milan for five seasons and also helped them win their first Serie A title in a years, last season. However, before he joined the Catalan giants, the Ivory Coast international was seen as one of the hottest free agents of the summer.
Unfortunately, he has always been benched and seen as back-up this summer, only played 127 minutes in five matches in all competitions.
He was brought in at the last nine minutes of the 2-1 defeat of Bayern Munich and the report claims that the midfielder regrets joining Barcelona.
In Xavi’s choice of players,the likes of Pedri, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong and Sergio Busquets are Xavi’s first choice players ahead of kessie.
