A Nigerian billionaire spent 3 million euros to charter the luxury yacht

Femi Otedola, a billionaire businessman, spent around 3 million euros to charter the luxury yacht Aristotle Onassis Christina O for his 60th birthday.

The news came to light just days before the Nigerian billionaire’s birthday on November 4.

Femi Otedola, the current chairman of the Geregu company, has rented the super yacht from one of his childhood idols, the late Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis, who was once considered the richest man in the world.

Otedola hired the yacht for his 60th birthday celebration with family and friends. The yacht will sail around the Mediterranean Sea for three weeks, with 37 crew members on board.

The billionaire on Wednesday afternoon,  was captured in video entering the yacht with his family and future son-in-law, Nigerian singer Mr Eazi who is engaged to one of the girls of the billionaire.

Femi Otedola (born November 4, 1962) is a Nigerian entrepreneur tycoon, philanthropist best known for being the former Chairman of Forte Oil Plc. He is also the founder of Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd, among others. Also, he is a serial investor as he invests in many companies in Nigeria and outside. He has many ventures and investments that have earned him the rank of third richest man in the Forbes list of billionaires in Africa in 2021.

Aside  his career, Femi is a proud father of four children, some of whom are making waves on the Nigerian fashion and entertainment scenes. And a good husband for his wife, Nana Otedola.
